After teaching Music Production and Music Business courses for many years at the college and university level, I often thought that what I taught was too valuable to only reach a lab of 25 students at a time. Having an online course or a place where all my instructional videos could be viewed by many more people at once seemed like a better use of time and resources.

So, that’s how Digital Audio Academy got started. I tried a few times to launch the website, but had many hiccups and challenges. Learning websites and eCommerce had some hurdles. But, we made it.

Digital Audio Academy is finally at a point where it can launch and be valuable. There are hours of videos on music production, mainly using Logic Pro and some Pro Tools, but expect that this site will expand out to recording, mixing and mastering and all things Digital Audio.
